Welcome to the Warrior Class Web Page!

When we come into school in the morning we put our names on the wall so that our teacher knows if we are packed lunch or hot dinner. We then get ready for exercises in the playground.

Our Pegs have our picture above so we know where to put our coats.

We keep all our books in a tray with our name on.

Each week we take a library book home to share with our family.

Every classroom has an interactive whiteboard. Our teacher writes on it and sometimes lets us play games on it.

In our rumpus room we do role play, we dress up and pretend to be other people.

Everyone has a water bottle so they can drink whenever they want.

We have lots of exciting activities. We play in the sand and water. Outside we have our own bikes and scooters and push the prams.

Before lunch we say Grace.

The Blue Balloon

This half term we have been using the text the blue balloon as a text to think about all areas of the curriculum. We have created some art work, undertaken drama and written about the story.

Islands!!!

We had a themed week in Yr R and linked all our learning to the sea, water and then to our text of the Lighthouse keepers lunch. Some of our activities included, making islands from clay, drawing pictures, using our hall time and building and island with the pe equipment and then travelling around it. We had a very enjoyable afternoon when we looked carefully and studied the colours and textures of a fresh fish.

Movement and Dance

We have been busy thinking about how our bodies move and the different shapes that we can make.

What do you think about the shapes we have been making. We have been giving some thought to the movements made by caterpillars, linking with our work on the story of the Hungry Caterpillar.
