Year 2 Pictures

Pastel Snowdragon pictures :: We used our pictures to write exciting stories, which are on display in the library.       Pastel Snowdragon pictures :: This dragon is out in the snow.      Summer Term Working together :: This display in our class area shows that we have been thinking about working together - look closely at the idea of cogs - how do they work?

Our Teacher - Mrs Pearce      snuggles      River display :: We have been exploring a range of texts to find information out about rivers. We wrote our own questions, learnt how to pick out key information and the recorded what we had learnt in our own words. We even wrote some tricky questions for Miss Page to answer.

Literacy in year 2 :: We all sit together to share a new text, and develop speaking and listening skills.      Circus :: This was a theme that we were thinking about during the Spring term. We linked this to our PE session and thought about the skills, movements and also music that you might use. We have also enjoyed using the equipment linked to this, such as plate spinning during our activity point reward time.      Hot air balloon :: This is the display in our school hall. It is so colourful and really brightens up the area.

What needs doing today? :: We need to follow instructions and work as a team.      Tadpole sketches :: We used charcoal to explore our artistic skills.      Tadpoles :: We are thinking about what happens at this time of year in nature. Our whole school theme is SPRING and we know that animals often go through changes at this time of year. Mrs Pearce has set up some frogs sperm for us to watch change over the half term. We are linking this with our literacy and science work as well. We are very excited to see how the sperm will finally change.
